Daniel Robinson grew up in Scotland, and married Louise in 2004. They have a son called Isaac who was born in 2012. Daniel has been leading worship in various settings since 1996 on both the guitar and keyboards. Daniel is a graduate of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. Soon after graduating from BSSM God connected Daniel with Bryan and Katie Torwalt, it was this connection that led Daniel to the River Church in Fresno. Daniel replaced the Torwalts as worship pastor in April 2013.
Daniel is passionate about presence-centered environments, as it is within these places that revelation and discovery happen – we learn more about who God is and who He says we are. His core values include relationship, community and vulnerability and he seeks to create a safe place in worship to explore these three things. Daniel believes that worship isn’t something to be contained within the four walls of the church, but should overflow out into the world and lead others into an encounter with God.
For Daniel, worship can be a catalyst for revival – it brings a heavenly atmosphere to earth that provides a place for worshippers to posture themselves before God to be renewed and revived.
Outside of ministry, his passions in life include family, being with friends, songwriting, beaches, golf, soccer, Italian and Japanese food (as well as a great Filet Mignon).
